Dr. Shannon Armstrong graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2010. She moved back to the Winchester area in 2015 after practicing small animal and equine medicine for 5 years in Quebec and Gananoque. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, riding her horse Mo and enjoying the cottage with her dog Tia.
& Cooper
Dr. Erin Von Gunten graduated in 2016 from the University of Melbourne in Australia. As a Winchester native she is happy to be back in the local community. She enjoys travel, reading and horseback riding. She and her husband Peter live on a hobby farm in Chesterville with their dogs, cat, horses and pot-bellied pig Gus.
& Bree
Dr. Graham Johnson is a clinic favourite, having been with us part-time for many years. Outside of work his grand-children keep him busy. Graham is an avid gardener and enjoys eggs from his 4 hens. He and his wife share their home with two dogs, Bree and Zoey, and cat Lucy.
& Toxie
Tayler started with the clinic in October 2014. She is our office manager, head receptionist and often the first person you meet upon arriving at the clinic. She has a lifelong passion for animals and agriculture, and enjoys farming, horseback riding and antique tractors.
& Elvis
Stephanie is a 2014 graduate of the Algonquin College Veterinary Technician Program. Her favourite part of being a veterinary technician is surgical nursing and, as you might have guessed, the puppies! In her spare time she enjoys baking, fitness, and spending time with her family - which now includes six laying hens.
& Dexter
Chelsea graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her family.
& Skribbles
Ashlee graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Seneca College in May 2019. Since then she has worked in both large and small animal medicine. She grew up in Etobicoke and moved to the area with her husband Cole. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family, dog Skribbles, cat, and chickens.
& Eleanor
Jenna graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at St.Lawrence College and the Veterinary Technician program at Algonquin College. Growing up in Winchester, she developed a love for animals, both small and large. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, spending time with family and travelling. Her young family keeps her busy, including her three cats, two dogs and two young sons.
& Colt
Jennifer completed her Veterinary Technician program at Algonquin College. After completing a degree in Biology at Trent University, her love of animals brought her to the veterinary world. When Jennifer isn’t working she enjoys hiking in forests with her dog Colt, reading, or finding new recipes to try out on her growing family.
& Asha
Stacee grew up in the Ottawa Valley area. As a young adult, she knew she had a love for animals and entered the Vet Assistant program at St. Lawrence College in Kingston ON, graduating in 2007. Stacee is our resident groomer and is excited to share her love of grooming. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family, including her cat.
& Shyla
Diana graduated from Sheridan College in 2001 where she completed the Veterinary Assistant program. She has been working in the veterinary field for the majority of her working career, minus 2 years where she worked in a pharmacy setting after completing the Pharmacy Assistant program. She moved to the area to escape the city. She enjoys the calm and quiet the country offers. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her partner and German Shepherd.
& Joey
Jasmine graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at Algonquin College in 2012. In her spare time, she loves going on adventures with her partner and her 6 year old twins. She has three cats, Pete, Joey and Binx.
& Bear
Kailey started at UCVS as a high school co-op student and she fell in love with working with animals. She is now enrolled at the University of Guelph to become a Registered Veterinary Technician, and possibly a large animal vet. In her spare time she likes fishing, hunting and teaching her lizard tricks.
& Marlon
Beckie has always dreamt of working with animals in a veterinary clinic. Holding two Bachelor’s degrees in Music and Integrated Sciences as well as a Master’s degree in Biology, Beckie found herself drawn back to the world of veterinary medicine in 2023. When not at the clinic, she can be found gardening, bicycling, looking after her five cats, teaching private music lessons, or napping with her dog, Marlon.
& Becky
Anna joined us last year as an after-school student. This young lady is very hard working, and we're so glad to have her here. You may have seen our clinic cat, Becky, around the office, sleeping in boxes or trying to steal treats. Anna is her favourite person because she usually is in charge of dinner-time!
