& Beans
Dr. Shannon Armstrong graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2010. She moved back to the Winchester area in 2015 after practicing small animal and equine medicine for 5 years in Quebec and Gananoque. She lives in Hallville with her husband John and two stepsons as well as her dog Beans, two cats, horses and goats. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her horses, gardening, cooking and skiing.

& Cooper
Dr. Erin Von Gunten graduated in 2016 from the University of Melbourne in Australia. As a Winchester native she is happy to be back in the local community. She enjoys travel, reading and horseback riding. She and her husband Peter live on a hobby farm in Ingleside with their dogs, cats, horses and pot-bellied pig Gus.

& Bree
Dr. Graham Johnson is a clinic favourite, having been with us part-time for many years. Outside of work his grand-children keep him busy. Graham is an avid gardener and enjoys eggs from his 4 hens. He and his wife share their home with their dog Zoey. Bree is dearly missed.

Dr. Lauren Brazeau graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 2026. Before vet school, she completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, where she studied Life Sciences. She is originally from Northern Ontario and only recently moved to the Ottawa area. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, being outside in nature, and playing sports of all kind, including hockey, volleyball, and most recently pickleball. She hopes to adopt a dog sometime soon!

& Maddie
Dr. Dana Robertson-Piepers graduated from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 with her final clinical year done at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. She has since moved back home to the North Gower area where she lives with her husband Doug and their son & daughter. They have two dogs Maddie and Bruce, an orange tabby named Fig as well as a plethora of crested geckos. She enjoys reading, gardening, horseback riding and crocheting in her spare time.

& Toxie
Tayler has been with the clinic since 2014. She is our office manager and has also been appointed to our bookkeeping team. Outside of work, Tayler and her spouse John run a cash crop operation in Ingleside, where they grow and harvest corn & soybeans. They share their home with a husky and a cat, as well as two horses.

& Skribbles
Ashlee graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Seneca College in 2019. In Ashlee’s spare time she enjoys reading, working out and spending time with her laying hens, dogs Skribbles and Chip, and 2 cats Peach and Cashew.

& Gord
Chelsea graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her family.

& Odin
Lisa graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at St. Lawrence College, Kingston in 2009. Over her years in the industry, Lisa has developed a passion for animal nutrition; this has become a focus in her career. Lisa has two young girls, a very silly dog, and a cat. Outside of time well spent with family, Lisa enjoys playing a variety of sports.

& Marcie
April graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program at St. Lawrence College Kingston in 1994. April has a lifelong passion for animals and enjoys all aspects of the veterinary field, but senior pets have a special place in her heart. She resides with her husband, 4 cats, 2 dogs and a bearded dragon, and loves spending time with her family.

& Sydney
Kailey started at UCVS as a high school co-op student and she fell in love with working with animals. She has now graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at the University of Guelph. In her spare time she likes fishing, hunting and teaching her lizard tricks.

Jenna is a recent graduate from the Veterinary Technician Program at the University of Guelph. She also graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program at St Lawrence College in Kingston in 2019. She enjoys traveling, paddle boarding, and spending time with her dog Zoé, and her cat Zanzibar.

& Becky
Stacee grew up in the Ottawa Valley area. As a young adult, she knew she had a love for animals and entered the Vet Assistant program at St. Lawrence College in Kingston ON, graduating in 2007. Stacee is our resident groomer and is excited to share her love of grooming. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family.
Becky is 17 years old and calls our clinic home. You may spot her sleeping in the sun or scavenging for treats.

& Shyla
Diana graduated from Sheridan College in 2001 where she completed the Veterinary Assistant program. She has been working in the veterinary field for the majority of her working career, minus 2 years where she worked in a pharmacy setting after completing the Pharmacy Assistant program. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and building Lego.

& Joey
Jasmine graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at Algonquin College in 2012. In her spare time, she loves going on adventures with her partner and young twins. She has three cats, Pete, Joey and Binx and a dog named Miller.

& Penne
Beckie has always dreamt of working with animals in a veterinary clinic. Holding two Bachelor’s degrees in Music and Integrated Sciences as well as a Master’s degree in Biology, Beckie found herself drawn back to the world of veterinary medicine in 2023. When not at the clinic, she can be found gardening, bicycling, playing with her four cats, looking after her red eared slider turtle, teaching private music lessons, or running with her dogs.

& Becky
Anna is a third year Veterinary Technology student studying at St. Lawrence College in Kingston. Anna started at UCVS in 2022 as an after-school student where she fell in love with veterinary medicine. Outside of studying and work, she enjoys spending time with her basset hound Mabel, fishing, and going camping.

Jess is currently a third year Veterinary Technologist student at St. Lawrence College in Kingston with a background in Legal and Executive Administration.
Outside of the classroom, she leads an exceptionally busy life. You can find her either at the barn playing with her pony, being a resident barn rat, hiding behind her camera capturing wildlife, being used as a cat tree by her three cats, or exploring the East Coast with her husband of 10 years.

& Dallas
Ali joined the staff of UCVS at the end of January 2025. She has three dogs; Dallas, Lilo, and Edward. In her spare time, she enjoys going for long walks and teaching Dallas new tricks.
